Here we are, at the end of another year, grateful for all that God has allowed us to go through, for every  challenge we faced, for the experiences we`ve had, and for each adjustment made to better serve the Lord. We are filled with feelings of gratitude, joy, and hope in this Advent season.

As you may know, our passion is discipleship through worship arts, and our mission is to serve, equip, and empower the church in Mozambique.  We are anxious to  return to the field to continue to continue to develop our  ministry. So, we are watching and waiting for God`s timing and provision. But as we wait, we engage in what God has called us to do, right here in Brazil.

This year we`ve had many opportunities to teach about music and missions in churches and seminaries here in Brazil. One memorable experience was with an indigenous tribe (Tribo Aruanã) in Goiás. After a week of time sharing about the Great Creator Cacique (Chief), the local community chief said, “I want this God who brought you from Africa to tell me how much He loves me”. We prayed together, and later at a worship service, he accepted Christ as his Cacique. Contextualization in mission is crucial!
